The Raventa Group founded in May 2014 by William Ravenna and Marta Nino Marcos. Raventa have the intention to buy good, small companies with unrealised potential. To help them grow through investment in people, systems, technology and acquisitions appropriate to the individual business.
William Ravenna set up Raventa in 2014 after 19 years growing and running a specialty chemical company based in Merseyside, UK. William set up the specialty chemical business in 1993 with 2 colleagues. It grew into a substantial Merseyside employer and a major global supplier of colourants and additives for plastics around the world. William sold the business to a US private equity firm in 2012.
William has a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University in the US, an MBA from Manchester Business School and Diploma from the Institutes of Directors in the UK.
Marta joined Raventa in 2014 after 17 years at the same specialty chemical business as William. Marta held several positions at her previous company including Marketing Manager before leaving to join Raventa.
Marta has a BSc in Economics from Leon University in Spain and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
